Rapid Release Plan

REAL Software releases updates containing new features and improvements to existing features every 90 days. Your new REALbasic license includes access to these updates for six months. After your update plan ends you can renew it, or continue to use any previously released version of REALbasic.

REALbasic update plan renewals - provides access to updates for 12 months
REALbasic Personal Edition	$50

All update plans provide access to updates for 12 months.

Upgrades to REALbasic from REALbasic 5.5 and earlier

Academic pricing

Discounts are available for students, faculty and staff of accredited schools, colleges and universities. Academic discounts are available automatically for customers with edu, cc and k12 mailing addresses. If you do not have a qualified email address you will be asked to provide proof of academic status before completing your purchase. 

Additional discounts are also available to academic customers making volume purchases. Please contact sales for a volume price quote.

Upgrading a REALbasic License

If you are purchasing an upgrade from Personal to Professional or Academic to Commercial for a REALbasic license you will receive a new license key but the expiration date on your update plan will remain the same.
